I was born in Canada, met my wife in France, and we have been raising our two American-born daughters across Guernsey, New York and Paris.
Prior to founding White Star Capital in 2007, I co-founded a transatlantic mergers and acquisitions advisory firm in the media and technology space in New York and Paris now part of the Mediobanca Group. Prior to this entrepreneurial journey in investment banking, I was a TMT investment banker with BOA Merrill Lynch in New York and London as well as with ABN AMRO in Amsterdam, London and Paris.
Partnering with founders through the high and low tides of the entrepreneurial voyage is at the core of our mission. I am proud to work with people from the early days of their journey all the way to the exit.
On Winter weekends, you’ll find me on the slopes skiing all day long with family and friends. During the Summer, I enjoy mountain biking, a good tennis game or round of golf.
I am a big fan of Coldplay, David Guetta and Martin Garrix on the music front, as well as Wayne Gretzky, Raphael Nadal and Michaela Schifrin when it comes to sports. I am also a huge supporter of the Montreal Canadians, the New York Yankees and the French National Football team.
I love reading about history and geopolitics. Authors such as James A Michener, Goerge Orwell, and David McCullough are among my favourites. I am also currently enjoying re-reading Sophie’s World by Jostein Gardner’s with my daughters.
