Blanche Ajarrista
Vice PresidentBorn in Toulouse, France, I grew up between Lytham St Annes, Bordeaux, Little Rock, Montreal, and Madrid before settling down in London, and speak English, French, and Spanish.
Prior to joining White Star, I was at Eight Roads, a global venture capital fund and asset manager, where I focused on early stage fintech investments and portfolio support. Previously, I was at Ardian in their Fund of Funds team in London. I completed my Masters in Finance at IE Business School in Madrid and graduated from McGill University in Montreal, with a bachelor in Economics.
What I love most about working at White Star is being surrounded by such an intellectually curious and diverse team, who are dedicated to supporting emerging technology leaders globally.
I love spending the summer in the Basque country, surfing, hiking the Pyrenees, and celebrating with my huge extended family. During the rest of the year, I love to bake sourdough, plant things in the garden, and explore London’s restaurants!
My favorite book has to be “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer, all about how science and indigenous knowledge meet in nature. A real roadmap for the future.
