Ross Ferreira
Manager, Portfolio Monitoring and ValuationBorn and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, I went on to complete my Bachelor of Accounting at Stellenbosch University before relocating to Guernsey.
I began my career at PwC Guernsey within their assurance department, where I focused on private equity valuations. During this time, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and became a registered member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
My journey led me to White Star Capital, where I now work as a Manager in the Portfolio Monitoring and Valuation team. I help ensure accurate and timely valuations across our global fund structures, supporting both internal investment teams and external stakeholders.
Coming from Cape Town to Guernsey, I’ve learned that perspectives matter. In work and in life, I value context, culture, and connection. Whether it’s exploring a new cuisine or a new country, I’m always learning, something that translates directly into how I approach my work at White Star.
Outside of work, I’m deeply passionate about cooking and all things food – you’ll often find me trying new recipes or exploring the vibrant food scene around Guernsey. I’m also a seasoned traveler, with a love for discovering new cultures, cuisines, and corners of the world.
