AssociateI grew up in Belgium, but have spent the last few years living in London, and now, Dubai.
I have always been obsessed with technology. I spent much of my childhood online learning about the digital world, from software and cybersecurity, to markets, blockchain technology, and entrepreneurialism. I knew this was what I wanted to pursue, and so went on to study for an MSc in Computer Science Engineering at Ghent University in Belgium.
I consider myself an auto-didact and have spent most of my life building, experimenting, and breaking things (ethically!). I have built and monetised software, alongside competing in countless programming competitions and hackathons.
Most of all, I love all things security-related whether for individuals or corporations. I have reported cybersecurity vulnerabilities to hundreds of companies globally and was part of the Belgium national team for the European Cybersecurity Challenge.
Shortly after university, I joined White Star Capital to work with the team in London. Initially, I focused on the liquid side as a quantitative trader. Right now, I’m working out of the Dubai office, focusing on tech due diligence for early-stage venture investments for the Digital Assets Team, with a specialism in cybersecurity and deep tech investments.
