Michel Davy

I am a British and French dual national and am based in Guernsey, having been born and raised here. I am married with two children.

I met Eric Martineau-Fortin in 2012 when White Star were looking for an administrator to partner with. Although I left the Administration space in 2013 – I continued to work with White Star as a non-executive director on the General Partner and Advisory boards.

I have been working with White Star Capital since inception helping to navigate and support the team through various stages of their growth, the experience has been immensely rewarding.

Prior to my involvement with White Star, I was the Managing Director of Ipes fund administration in Guernsey.  My background is in accountancy having trained as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young.

I am a founder of Arolla Partners, an independent director services business based in Guernsey and provide my director services through this regulated platform.

I am a keen golfer having represented the island at various levels in the past whilst also treading the streets as a regular runner – having completed several half-marathons over the years and the Marathon de Mont St Michel in 2019.  I am a big football fan and support Liverpool FC.

I enjoy many genres of music, artists and bands. Billy Joel and INXS are both up there on my all-time list.  I am also a keen reader and enjoy various novels – but on the classics – John Steinbeck is a standout;  his masterpiece – East of Eden,  is my favourite to date.
