I have always been an investor, most commonly across private debt markets ranging from Leverage Finance to Growth Lending.
Prior to White Star I was a Principal at Claret Capital Partners, where I was responsible for deploying debt capital into the best early-stage companies across Europe, typically committing over €80m per annum.
Having worked with entrepreneurs and investors across the world, the pace of change for a company and subsequently its financing requirements are rapid. Traditional financing methods have been slow to evolve leaving a large gap in what a company needs and what is out there in the market. It’s our innovative approach and willingness to think differently that makes us a perfect partner for entrepreneurs to achieve their ambitions
I started my career at Barclays where I co-founded their technology lending product and grew the program across the UK and into Europe, at its peak having c.£200m in committed capital. I graduated with a Masters degree in Medical Engineering from Queen Mary.
I love food & wine! In my spare time I’m either cooking for friends & family or travelling to a new vineyard somewhere in the world! Life has changed somewhat given I now have a very young daughter, so hanging out with her is where my spare time seems to go these days!
