Director of Communications and MarketingBorn in Scotland, but raised across the UK. I now split my time between Edinburgh and London.
Before joining White Star Capital, I worked as a communications consultant for a range of venture capital firms, startups, and public technology companies across Europe and North America. This included campaigns with the likes of Cloudflare, trivago, ClassPass, Pipe, Lightrock, and ProtonMail.
Prior to that I spent time within the communication and marketing department of London-based fintech WorldRemit. Helping launch its remittance service in new countries across Asia, Africa, and South America, gave me a crucial understanding of the communication challenges, but also opportunities, that startups with a global vision face.
Working alongside exceptional founders building the next generation of global success stories is a humbling, but incredibly satisfying experience. It’s a pleasure to have that opportunity on a daily basis with White Star Capital’s diverse collective of entrepreneurs.
Having originally graduated with a History BA from the University of Nottingham, I recently completed an MSc in Science and Technology Studies at the University of Edinburgh during my spare time, where I focused on writing a dissertation on the social and political science of alternative proteins.
I’m at my happiest when climbing mountains across Scotland.
