Born in Canada, I am based in the United Kingdom, launched a Venture Capital fund in the US, and I spend most of my business time across Europe and Canada.
Prior to being an investment banker focused on the energy transition space globally, I co-founded Silicon Valley-based Autotech Ventures, the first independent automotive technology VC fund globally.
Earlier, I spent nearly more than 10 years as an M&A banker with BOA Merrill Lynch and ABN AMRO/RBS, where I headed their Global Automotive practice. I also held senior roles in fast growing startups and scale-ups in mobility, such as ChargePoint in the US.
The energy transition is one of the most far-reaching evolutions in history, sitting at the intersection of advanced physical asset technology, and increasingly crucial digitisation, with almost unlimited growth potential. It has been a privilege over the years to be closely involved in developing the financial framework enabling this transformation.
I hold a MSc degree in Finance from the London School of Economics and a BCom degree from McGill University.
